ASPIRE – Columbia has partnered with L.E.A.R.N. to "Inspire a Culture of Learning" in our school. Supporting the needs of over 125 students every day, the ASPIRE program provides recreation, nutrition, and tutoring five days a week. http://learnla.org/programs/aspire

CHOIR/CONCERT BAND/DRAMA/KEYBOARD – Under the direction of composer and recording artist Frank Jansen, the Columbia performing arts showcases students with vocals, wind instrument ensembles, keyboards, and theatre arts. Each year there are various music recitals and dramatic productions. Last year, Columbia was entertained by the musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's madcapped Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

SOCCER FOR SUCCESS – The U.S. Soccer Foundation's fee soccer-based after school program that uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for children in under-resourced urban communities. The foundation has partnered with Columbia to provide over 150 children with free after school programming three times a week.
